Check out Bradley Class under the Services button for more information. | Free Healthy Pregnancy Workshop The first Monday of each month: 6:30 PM February 2, 2009 March 2, 2009 April 6, 2009 May 4, 2009 June 1, 2009 July 6, 2009 August 3, 2009 September 14, 2009 October 5, 2009 November 2, 2009 December 7, 2009 | Each month I offer a free workshop entitled “Having a Healthy Pregnancy, Labor and Delivery”. During this workshop you will learn about the importance of nutrition during pregnancy and how the right diet can reduce your chances of complications during pregnancy. You will also learn some exercises to do during pregnancy to help keep you comfortable and make for an easier labor and delivery. Finally, we will talk about natural childbirth, why it may be the right choice for you, and how The Bradley Method can prepare you for the magical event that is about to take place! | Infant Massage Classes: Thursdays in April, July and October 6:30 PM | Infant massage is an amazing way to bond with your baby. Massaging your infant helps with muscle tone, sleep, colic, and digestion. This class runs for 4 consecutive weeks. Please call or e-mail me to reserve your place! Check out Infant Massage under the Services button for more information | La Leche League Meetings: Held the 1st Tuesday of each month at the Weston Community Center at 10:00 AM Held the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Mt. Nittany Medical Center, Conference Rooms 1&2 at 7 PM | La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed. All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.
| | Centre County Babywearers Meetings: Held the 2nd Monday of each month 10:30 AM Patton Twp. Community Building | At these meetings, you’ll learn about the many different types of baby carriers and the benefits and drawbacks of each type, so that you can make an educated decision abut what’s right for you. If you already have experience with baby carriers, you might be able to pick up a few new techniques, try carriers you haven’t tried out yet, or help share the babywearing love by sharing your experiences with new parents. | Birthcircle: Dates to be announced 6:30 PM Weston Community Center | Come and hear positive stories of natural birth!
